Snickers finished her championship winning both of her majors on the same day (April 1, 2006). A pretty special feat indeed. It was also pretty tough convincing her owners (who were attending field trials in California with their other dogs) that this was not a cruel April's Fools Day joke. No joke, we have pictures!!!! She recently achieved her "Hunting Hound" title through the Basset Hound Club of America and has one first placement and a substantial amount of points toward her field championship. Snickers is owned and loved by Patti and Gary Palmer of California.
