We
had great hopes that Lenny would continue in the Rivendell
tradition of quality show dogs. Reluctantly, he had
other ideas. While being held back to grow up a bit,
Lenny decided to "eat the wall", literally.
He ended up with a large wood splinter in his eye. Many months
of treatments followed, and despite a very poor prognosis,
he retained his eye and his sight with only a slight
blue scar to show for it. We mutually agreed that the
show world was just not for him. We went looking for a loving home for him, and found one a bit farther away then anticipated. Lenny is now living the high life as a beach bum in the Cayman Islands with his new family.
