Cori Beth will hold the title of the Grande Dame of Rivendell forever. Structurally sound, her show career was anticipated to be exceptional. Reluctantly, several medical setbacks at a young age made her wary of strangers and gave her a major dislike of the show ring.

We turned to obedience to overcome her anxieties, but they just ran too deep. She did however excel in obedience, and was our first, and to date, our only Companion Dog Excellent title holder. Cori was also our first dog to venture into the world of tracking and agility. We were close to competition in agility when I injured my back, and by the time I was mobile, she was nine, and I was unwilling to risk injury to her.

She was bred only once to Ch. Sanlyn's Classic Ten O'Bayland ROM, and of the three puppies produced, we kept Ch. Rivendell's Pink Cadillac.

She passed away in the fall of 2003 at the age of 13.
